This lesson helped to teach my daughter about the consequences of our actions and the preschool theme: My Family.
Let’s get learning!

Adam and Eve break GOD’s rule
Genesis 3:18 – 4:1
So, let’s remember what happened after Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. They realized they were naked and hid away to cover their bodies.
So GOD came walking in the garden that afternoon, and GOD called Adam: “Where are you Adam?” and Adam said: “I’m hiding away because I am naked!” and GOD was so sad because HE knew they disobeyed HIM.
GOD asked Adam, “Who told you that you are naked? Did you eat of the fruit I told you not to eat from?” Do you know what Adam said? Instead of owning up to his bad decisions and just saying “I’m so sorry GOD”, Adam said, “the woman YOU gave me, gave the fruit to me to eat and I ate it!”
Oh my goodness! It’s almost like he is blaming everyone but himself! But who is in control of Adam and his body? Adam! He had a choice to say “no, I know I’m not supposed to eat this fruit, no thank you. I choose to do the right thing” but he chose to eat it!
Then GOD asked Eve, and she blamed the serpent! So who do you think was wrong? All of them! Because each of them had a CHOICE and all of them chose to do the wrong thing. So GOD gave each one punishment of their own.
GOD put Adam and Eve out of the beautiful Garden of Eden (so that they would not be able to eat from the fruit of the Tree of Life and live forever) and GOD put Cherubim (PLEASE READ Ezekiel 1) at the East of the Garden to keep them out.
Adam and Eve started a new life outside of the Garden of Eden, they started a family of their own, with two sons, Cain and Able.

O’ Be Careful Little Eyes What you See
Every craft is done as a concrete resource to help your child understand abstract concepts. So in the middle of having fun making the crafts, we drive home those abstract concepts (;
Paper City Craft
I had a half a mind about doing a craft about a Cherubim but after reading the great detail in Ezekiel 1, I thought hold on, hold on! Let’s rather keep things simple
I ended up really enjoying this craft because it tied in the fact that after the punishment of Adam and Eve, they started a family. And it paved a way to do an amazing family themed activity book! (see below)
Let’s do some learning (:
Although our curriculum is divided into three components (Literacy, Numeracy, and Life Skills), the Interactive Activity Books are designed to incorporate the three components into one seamless theme.
